Since the cinema has temporarily closed its doors, the committee of Louth Film Club have decided to halt screenings. We hope that shows will resume as soon as it is considered safe for us to do so. We also wish you all well.
The committee

Based in the market town of Louth, in Lincolnshire, Louth Film Club shows the best of current and recent films not on the mainstream circuit, and also some of the great classic movies that you might not have seen on the big screen before.

Screenings are in Louth’s Playhouse Cinema, in Cannon Street, fortnightly on Mondays at 7.30pm. See our What’s On page for details of
forthcoming films. You can pick up our printed programme at Off The Beaten Tracks record shop, 36 Aswell Street, or at the Playhouse Cinema, Louth Library or Louth Tourist Information Centre (next to the cinema).

You can find out more about membership, and join the club, at Off The Beaten Tracks or at the Playhouse on club nights.

You don’t have to be a member to see our films, but by joining the club you can buy tickets for just £5, a considerable saving on the normal cinema prices. As a member you can also have a say in just what we show; every year we include a number of films that have been suggested by members.

Louth Film Club is a member of Cinema For All, the trading name of the British Federation of Film Societies. The Playhouse is an independent, three-screen cinema.
